BEA issues February personal income and outlays release and ends PDF/Excel tables

The Bureau of Economic Analysis has published its February 2026 Personal Income and Outlays release and used the report to make a packaging change.

BEA said news release tables in PDF and Excel format will no longer be provided beginning with the February 2026 estimate. Instead, the agency is directing readers to its Interactive Data Tables for the highlighted statistics.

The change had already been preannounced in earlier BEA release materials and schedule notes, but the April 9 release is the first one to implement it.

BEA’s monthly personal income and outlays report remains a routine economic release, but the shift matters for users who have relied on downloadable tables for quick reference and analysis.

For now, the key development is operational rather than economic: the data release continues, but the presentation format is changing.
