The southbound lane of the EDSA Magallanes Flyover in Makati reopened to traffic on April 6 after scheduled Holy Week rehabilitation work, according to multiple reports.

DPWH-NCR had temporarily closed the lane for repairs that included asphalt overlay and related safety work. GMA News Online reported on April 5 that the southbound portion would reopen the next day, and ABS-CBN News later said the repairs had been completed.

TV5 also reported that the first phase of the EDSA rehabilitation was “practically” complete. The reopening is part of a broader traffic management effort tied to the Holy Week repair window.

The closure was meant to allow round-the-clock work on the flyover, and the lane is now back in service for motorists using one of Metro Manila’s busiest road corridors.

Drivers passing through the area should still watch for any follow-up advisories from DPWH or local traffic authorities in case additional roadwork or lane management measures are announced.
