Related Digital is nearing roughly $16 billion in financing for a major Oracle data center project in Saline Township, Michigan, according to Bloomberg News and Reuters.
The financing package is expected to include about $2 billion in equity and about $14 billion in debt led by Bank of America, Bloomberg reported. Reuters cited a source familiar with the matter in saying the deal is close to completion.
The campus is part of the broader Stargate buildout tied to Oracle and OpenAI workloads. OpenAI, Oracle and Related Digital announced the site in October 2025 as a more-than-1-gigawatt data center campus.
Related said the financing will be completed shortly and that the project remains on schedule. Oracle said construction is moving forward and that steel columns have started going up at the site.
The latest reports suggest the deal has moved through a lengthy and complex financing process, but no final closing has been publicly announced yet.
