Governor Josh Green's notice said the closure covered most state workers on Oʻahu and included Judiciary operations, University of Hawaiʻi campuses, public schools, public charter schools and most City and County of Honolulu offices. The Hawaiʻi State Judiciary separately said all state courts and Judiciary operations on Oʻahu would be closed.
The Hawaiʻi State Archives also said it would be closed on Friday and would reopen on Monday, April 13.
