A Fresno County public notice says supervisors will hold an April 21 hearing on rescinding one agricultural land conservation contract and entering another tied to a Dunlap property exchange.
Fresno County has set a public hearing for April 21 on a proposed agricultural land conservation contract change tied to a property exchange in Dunlap.
According to the public notice published April 10, the Board of Supervisors will consider rescinding Agricultural Land Conservation Contract No. 6236 and simultaneously entering into Contract No. 8353. The notice says the hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. in Fresno.
The action is tied to a property exchange involving the County of Fresno and the Richard Don Hall and Susan I. Hall Revocable Living Trust of 2011. County agenda materials from earlier this year refer to a real-property exchange at 40315 Dunlap Road in Dunlap.
California Department of Conservation guidance describes rescission and easement exchange as part of the Williamson Act land-conservation process.
