The most closely watched contest appears to be in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, which the Associated Press described as the state’s highest-profile primary. AP said four Democrats are competing there.
Live coverage is also tracking results in the open 11th District seat and other House races, along with the statewide Senate primary.
The New Jersey Division of Elections lists the 2026 primary on its official election calendar and provides candidate materials and other election information. Major outlets including The Washington Post, ABC News and WHYY are running live results pages as ballots are counted.
Polls opened at 6 a.m. and are scheduled to close at 8 p.m., according to NBC10 Philadelphia.
