MetroLINK announces Easter holiday closure and no fixed-route service on April 5

MetroLINK says there will be no fixed-route bus service on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026.

The Quad Cities transit agency posted a holiday closure notice on its website saying regular service will resume on Monday, April 6. Its rider information page also says Metro operations, offices and facilities are closed on Easter unless otherwise noted.

The notice is a routine service alert, but it matters for riders planning holiday travel in the Quad Cities area. Anyone expecting a Sunday bus should make alternate plans.
