AMTZ has launched MedTech Hackathon 2026 in Visakhapatnam, bringing together startups, innovators and health-tech builders for a four-day event.
The hackathon is themed “Hack Health: Innovate to Heal.” Machine Maker reported that more than 300 participants are involved, including over 150 startups and teams from across India.
World Health Innovation Forum and AIC-AMTZ MediValley also promoted the event, confirming the April 4-7 schedule and the Visakhapatnam venue at Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone.
The promotional material describes the hackathon as focused on execution, prototyping, testing, validation and regulatory support. One post also said the event includes support of up to ₹10 lakhs.
The launch gives AMTZ another platform to showcase medtech innovation and connect founders with health-care and regulatory partners. The event is likely to draw attention from investors, builders and hospital-facing startups looking for development and testing support.
