The public website requires no account, uses Google Analytics to measure site usage, and currently uses no advertising.

Server logs
Technical data such as time, requested address, transfer size, browser identifier, and IP address may be processed in hosting security and error logs. It is used for operation, debugging, and abuse prevention, not advertising profiles.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is used to understand aggregate site usage. It may process pages viewed, referrers, timestamps, browser and device information, IP-derived location, cookies, and similar identifiers. This information is sent to Google and is not used by Developing Light to display advertising.
If you write to contact@developinglight.com, the sender address, message, and technical metadata are processed to answer it. Do not send unnecessary sensitive data.

DOI, repository, and full-text links lead to independent providers. Their privacy terms apply after you follow a link. Developing Light does not embed paper content on article pages.
Editorial access
The private admin area uses a necessary secured session and is restricted to authorized users.
