Review finds vine tea extracts active against bacteria and fungi
Vine tea’s main flavonoid, dihydromyricetin, has shown reported activity against bacteria and fungi in laboratory studies, and some formulations performed better than the free compound. But the evidence is uneven, with no standardized dose, limited direct proof of how the compound works, and safety data that do not answer questions about human use.
